Adam Williams started his career playing as a striker for the Balsall and Berkswell Hornets in Coventry, England. After two years and 59 goals, Adam was given the “Golden Boot” for being the top goal scorer and earned an invite to play for Coventry City FC Academy.
At Coventry City FC, he played against teams such as Arsenal FC, Birmingham FC, Brighton and Hove Albion FC and many more. After moving to Worcestershire, England, Adam went on to play for Evesham United’s semi-pro team; first for their Junior Premier league as well as their U16 squad. During that time, Adam began taking coaching courses and received his FA level 1 and Youth Modules 1 & 2 before coming to the United States.
In 2015, Adam joined the varsity soccer team as a junior at Travis High School in Richmond, TX. Between his junior and senior year, he scored 32 goals for Travis and won Most Valuable Player two years in a row. While playing for Travis, Adam also played for the Houston Dutch Lions U18, U20, U23, and reserve men’s NPSL team scoring 30 more goals. After high school, Adam attended Austin College to continue his soccer career. As a freshman, he played all 16 games, scored the winning goal versus the University of Texas at Dallas, and traveled the country playing in the SCAC conference. Throughout his time in high school and university, Adam took the time to coach players from 5 to 12 at a local soccer academy.
Today, Adam is continuing to further his coaching education and develop his coaching philosophy.
